Meet Ivy

Ivy is our sweet one eyed Boston Terrier who came into our lives through SNORT Rescue. The original plan was to foster her while she healed from surgery to remove her damaged eye, but that did not last long. Within two days she had us completely wrapped around her tiny paws and we knew she was home for good.

She is pure joy. Ivy lives for frozen blueberries, toothy kisses, short walks, and long naps that always include loud snores and the toxic gasses. Her playful zooms, her gentle nature, and her goofy personality made her a favorite in our family and with everyone who has followed her story.

In March of 2025 everything changed. Ivy began having seizures that we believe are caused by a brain tumor. Because of her age there are not many safe treatment options, so we monitor her around the clock, adjust her medication as needed, and focus on keeping her comfortable. The seizures started small but have grown worse and more frequent with time. Even through these difficult moments she still finds a way to smile with her 6 teeth, still begs for treats, and still tries her best to enjoy every single day.

Ivy has never stopped fighting. She has given us more love than we ever thought possible, and every day with her is a gift.
