Happy Birthday Elsa

Tomorrow would have been Elsa’s 14th birthday. She passed away on Thanksgiving Eve in 2024 after a long and heartbreaking battle with brain cancer, and I still think about her every single day. Losing her changed me in ways I am still trying to understand. It hurts even more now because our other sweet girl Ivy is fighting the very same thing. Watching history repeat itself is beyond fucking brutal.

Terrier Cvlt was born from my love for Elsa. She was the face of the brand for years and the heart behind so many of our designs. When she passed there was a moment where I honestly felt ready to shut it all down. It felt empty without her. But the more I thought about it the more I realized the best way to honor her was to keep going and to keep creating in her name.

For her birthday this year I made a brand new Elsa Forever design available on shirts, prints and sherpa blankets. $5 from every item sold will be donated to MSPCA Angell, the incredible team that helped save Ivy years ago when she first faced brain cancer. Being able to give back in Elsa’s name and knowing that her story might help another animal in need is what keeps me moving forward.
