Elsa Update: Radiation Day 01

Elsa was dropped off at @mspca.angell this morning at 7am for her first of x20 radiation treatments. For her first treatment she had a VAP placed in her neck for easier anesthesia administration and it will remain for the duration of her treatment. She was first up today and is already finished and waking up now. She’ll be able to eat soon and will rest comfortably with her new friends.

We are boarding her Monday-Friday so she can have access to top medical care 24hrs a day. She’s starting behind the 8 ball but is tough as nails so we are optimistic for her recovery.
